Creating Database

Introduction

The Create Database page allows you to set up a new database for your applications. Please ensure you have a clear understanding of your requirements before proceeding, as this database will be crucial for your application's performance and data management.

Note: The username, database name, and host address are essential details that will be automatically generated for you. You can use this data anytime to connect your application to the database or access it remotely.

Database Name

This field represents the unique name of your database. Choose a descriptive and memorable name to easily identify it among your other databases. The name should not contain any special characters or spaces.

Database Size

Select the size of your database based on your purchased plan. The size will determine the storage capacity available for your database. Choose an appropriate size that meets your data storage and performance needs.

Database Location

Choose the preferred hosting location for your database. This will determine the physical server location where your database is hosted. Selecting a location closer to your user base can reduce latency and improve performance.

Database Password

Set a strong password for your database to ensure its security. The password must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 8 characters long.
  • Includes at least one uppercase letter (A-Z).
  • Includes at least one lowercase letter (a-z).
  • Includes at least one number (0-9).
  • Includes at least one special character (e.g., @, #, $, etc.).

A strong password helps protect your data from unauthorized access and ensures the safety of your information.
